Apple Bran Muffins

This recipe was inspired by our Granny who is someone we will always try to live up to when it comes to baking. Our RYP Apple Powder is a great addition to any baked good and derived from local farmers fields in BC.


  • 3 tbsp Apple Powder
  • 1/3 cup Margarine (melted)
  • 3 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Unsweetened Apple Sauce
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk (we used DF Almond Milk)
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1 1/2 cups Bran
  • 1 1/2 cups Raisins


  • Preheat Oven to 400 degrees F
  • Mix Brown Sugar, Flour, Baking Powder & Soda, Salt, Bran and RYP Apple Powder
  • Mix margarine, unsweetened apple sauce, eggs, milk and add to the dry ingredients
  • Mix in Raisins and add mixture to lined or greased muffin tin
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes and ensure toothpick comes out clean
  • Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes
