Beet Chickpea Hummus

Our favourite quick and easy appetizer with our RYP Beet Powder is aesthetically beautiful and an absolute crowd pleaser!


  • 1 can of chickpeas (15 oz)
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp RYP Just Beet It ~ Organic Beet Powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Olive Oil for serving
  • Paprika for serving
  • Pine Nuts & Basil for serving (optional)


  1. Drain & Rinse can of chickpeas and add to a food processor
  2. Add lemon juice, tahini, garlic cloves, RYP Beet Powder and salt and pulse for about 5 minutes until smooth
  3. Taste and adjust as needed by adding more lemon juice, garlic or salt
  4. Spoon the hummus into a bowl, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle paprika to serve with additional toppings if desired
