RYP Apple Cinnamon Granola Bars
We were looking for a quick and easy recipe with no hassle of blending or extra steps. Soooo we came up with this recipe on our own and it was delicious (& nutritious)! This recipe can be made with any of our fruit powders :)
Ingredients:
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup oats
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup finely chopped almonds (or nut of choice)
- 2 tbsp RYP Apple Powder
- Toppings of choice (coconut, dried berries, nuts, chocolate chips)
Directions:
- Pre-heat oven to 350 Degrees
- Prep baking sheet with parchment paper
- In a medium sized bowl, mash the banana with a fork
- Mix in oats, cinnamon, honey (or maple syrup), chopped almonds, RYP Apple Powder
- Press combined mixture flat into baking tin and form into a square or rectangle about 1 inch thick
- Top with desired toppings
- Bake for 15 mins
- Allow to cool
- Cut and serve immediately or place in a freezer safe container and store for later!
